For the past few weeks, all anyone can talk about is the revelation that Jada Pinkett and August Alsina were an item. After Jada and Will Smith did a special Red Table Talk where they clarified exactly went on, a source is claiming that the Hollywood couple may be leaving some things out.
In summation, the actress revealed that she and her husband split 4 years ago. During that time, her relationship with the singer turned from a caretaker position into a romantic one.
‘We decided that we were going to separate for a period of time and you go figure out how to make yourself happy and I’ll figure out how to make myself happy. From there, as time went on, I got into a different kind of entanglement with August.’
She went on to explain that she and Will realized that they could never be apart. Once that happened, August cut off all communication with her.
Then as part of the promotional tour for his album, August completed an interview with Angela Yee where he dropped the bomb that had been speculation up until then.

According to Page Six, a source claims that Will and Jada’s interview was strategic. They also questioned how the mother of two was helping Alsina heal.
The insider straight out claimed she did more damage than healing.
‘You can look at August and see that there’s a certain amount of pain that he is feeling, and you can hear in his words that he’s trying to speak his truth while still protecting the Smiths. Jada [previously] said she was mentoring him ... what kind of mentoring was she giving him where he felt he gave his all to a relationship that has left him devastated and hurt?
