Mark Ruffalo is easily one of the most successful actors in the world these days. While he has worked in TV and film for decades, he’s most famous for his portrayal of the Hulk in the MCU.

Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe know that The Hulk is one of few characters in the comic book world who hasn’t gotten his own brand new comic book movie in the last decade, with the exception of Edward Norton and Eric Bana’s version of the character in the 2000s.

Mark Ruffalo has since become the most revered and popularized version of The Hulk, however, he hasn’t been overly excited at the idea of making a stand-alone movie – at least until now. During a conversation with Variety, the Avengers cast-member explained he would like to star in a Hulk movie to explain the character’s development.

Ruffalo stated he had an idea for the character that is “really interesting,” because there hasn’t been a film in the MCU yet that “followed him into his life.” Mark stated it would be “really interesting” to see what happens to him between all of the Avengers films.

The last time Mark Ruffalo was in the headlines was for more political reasons. For instance, on the 10th of October, 2019, Nick Markus reported on Mark’s outrage over pictures of Ellen DeGeneres hanging around the former US president, George W. Bush.

When Hollywood figures became enraged over the television personality defending George W. Bush, Ruffalo responded by stating George needed to be held accountable for his alleged “war crimes.”

As it was previously reported, Ellen and George W. Bush were photographed during an NFC match, and they looked like they were having a great time. Fans of the television show personality were not happy with her, and neither were many Hollywood elites.

Later, the personality addressed the matter on her show. The host urged people to be kind to others, despite differences in political perspectives. Mark, however, argued that George W. Bush needed to be “brought to justice” for what happened during the Iraq War, including “deaths and displacement,” and “American-lead torture.”
