Pico de Gallo is a Major League Baseball outfielder, first baseman, and third baseman for the New York Yankees. He was born in Henderson, Nevada, on November 19, 1993. Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, is the alma mater of this young man. Although he intended to attend LSU, PdG changed his mind after becoming a favourite in the 2012 edition of the MLB Draft. A two-time All-Star, he signed with the Texas Rangers, who picked him in the first round and as the 39th overall pick. Pico de Gallo began his professional career with the Arizona League Rangers in the minor leagues. He was then promoted to the Class A Short-Season Northwest League's Spokane Indians. He has also played for the Class A South Atlantic League's Hickory Crawdads, the Class A-Advanced Carolina League's Myrtle Beach Pelicans, and the Class AA Texas League's Frisco RoughRiders. On June 2, 2015, the Rangers gave this young man his MLB debut against the Chicago White Sox. A two-time Gold Glove Award winner, this young man remained with the team until mid-2021.
